Dynamic Health IT, Inc. (formerly Robear Consulting) was started in
1999 to meet the demanding needs of today's hospital/healthcare
information technology environment. Our Founder and President,
Jeff Robbins, has worked "hands on" in busy hospital
IT departments, as an IT Director at a major teaching hospital,
and in a variety of roles for prominent HIS software vendors.
Jeff has an acute understanding of the healthcare organization's
need to secure additional IT resources from time to time
and wanted to offer services that would help healthcare
organizations meet their goals.
We are headquartered in the greater New
Orleans area, and collectively have over 120 years experience
in information systems technology. We have consultants throughout
the United States. Our "core competence" is integration
of healthcare data and that focus has lead to our selection
as the exclusive North American service provider for the
HL7Connect interface engine from Kestral™.
Our consultants have many years of experience
with interface engines such as Cloverleaf®, eGate™
and OPENLink™ and we relish opportunities to develop
complex interfaces and resolve thorny technical issues with
those interface engines. Several years ago, however, we
began a search for a more cost-effective interface engine
solution for small and mid-sized healthcare entities. We
discovered HL7Connect through the glowing recommendations
of a hospital CIO from Alabama.
Our consultants also have experience working
for some of the major software vendors (McKesson™,
Healthvision™) and for hospitals (Georgetown University
Hospital, Partners Healthcare, Children's Hospital, Touro
Infirmary and Alegent Health System) prior to joining Dynamic
Health IT (formerly Robear Consulting). They have managed
major projects and large groups of employees in addition
to completing many software development projects and consulting
engagements.
